Our story
After years in the finance industry, a close group of us knew we had enough knowledge to help others. Our founder, Brent, together with 5 staff members (who still help lead the Swoosh team today!) decided to create an easy, fast, and entirely online service that offered a friendly alternative to other lenders. Swoosh Finance was born.

Meet our Director
Brent has spent the last 20 years becoming a finance expert. He began his journey in a large New Zealand finance company and has since worked across a variety of finance fields. From business development at Suncorp Insurance to Personal Finance Operations Manager at Cash Converters, he has built a portfolio of financial expertise—including running his own Financial Brokerage.
Finding his home at Swoosh Finance in September 2015, Brent combined his many years of experience with a laid-back attitude to create an efficient and welcoming work environment. By December 2016, he stepped up to the role of Director. Under his leadership, the 5 staff he began with grew to over 60 people.
He continues to drive Swoosh Finance in its mission to provide a straightforward, easy, stress-free lending experience to customers.

Since 2014, Swoosh Finance has provided fast, convenient, and responsible loan services to Australians from all walks of life. We are based in South-East Queensland, specialising in the provision of secured finance options. We look at each individual to see how we can best help them and their particular situation—regardless of their credit history.
So, what can we do for you?
No matter your reason for a loan, we’re here to help. You can get a fast cash loan for any amount between $2,300 and $5,000 using your existing vehicle (fully owned and registered in the borrower’s name) as security. Our online application is so easy, it takes less than 5 minutes to complete. Once approved (usually within 1 business hour), we’ll give you all the information you need to start your loan and sign a contract.

Because we are all about mates helping mates, we are committed to responsible lending in all we do. We use lending criteria, common sense and professional assessors when reviewing your application. We’ll only approve you for a loan we know you have the ability to repay. Our customers recommend us to their family and friends—because they know we can be trusted.

To be eligible for a Swoosh loan, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Be over 18 years old
- Permanent Resident or a valid visa holder of Australia
- Employed for at least 3 months with minimum weekly pay of $300 (after-tax)
- Own a vehicle registered in your name
Yes, we offer payday loans of up to $5,000 for people on the Gold Coast, even for people with bad credit.
We pride ourselves on our same day loans, and our online loan application takes only minutes to complete.
