      1. Venture to Melbourne Zoo

      The best things in life are free! That’s right, a children’s ticket at Melbourne Zoo is free during school holidays. That means you just need to pay $54.50 for an adult ticket, making it a relatively cheap school holiday activity. If you have extra funds in your Christmas budget, you can upgrade your ticket with an Animal Experience—including the “Roar ‘n’ Snore” Overnight Camp.

      If you want to road trip and explore Victoria a little more, you can get a Zoos Victoria membership for unlimited access to all four of their locations (Melbourne, Werribee, Healesville and Kyabram).

      2. Visit Collingwood Children’s Farm

      At only $10 per child or $40 for an annual pass, Collingwood Children’s Farm is great for when the grandparents want to take a group of kids out for cheap school holiday activities.
